Youth video showcase
In celebration of Culture Days, the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton hosted a youth video showcase with Canadian Musicians Co-operative Inc., in the form of a YouTube playlist. The youth video showcase includes Milton musicians, vocalists, dancers, visual artists, poets and spoken word artists.

- All materials for the lesson will be provided.
- All programs (except Get Into Art) are a drop off program. Parents are welcomed to sit in the seating area outside the classroom.
- No refunds are given after the 3rd class, and all refunds less than 7 days in advance are subjected to a withdrawal fee.
Children’s Bookmark Design Contest
We are seeking submissions for our first Children's Bookmark Design Contest. We are calling children and youth artists to design a bookmark using the bookmark template provided. This contest will have two categories for children and youth. Children’s submissions are for children ages 4-8 years of age and youth ages 9-13 years of age. The bookmark will be used to provide information about the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton and the design will be used on one side of the bookmark and the opposite side of the bookmark will contain information about the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton. The objective of this program is to promote the FirstOntario Arts Centre and celebrate local artists.
The theme for the design is “Dream, Draw and Discover”.
Timeline: Submissions are due by Friday, February 20th, 2026. Judging will happen during the week of February 23-27th, 2026. Winners will be announced on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 on the FirstOntario Arts Centre website and social media pages.
How to submit: Download and print the bookmark template or pick-up a copy in-person at the Chudleigh's Box Office. Draw your design on the template and drop off your physical drawing at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton Chudleigh's Box Office. Please ensure to complete all of the required information.
By submitting artwork, the applicant agrees to the following:
- A parent/guardian must complete and sign the submission form for eligibility
- All submitted artwork must be original and not infringe on any copyrighted material
- Artwork will be judged based on colour, originality, adherence to theme, and artistic excellence
- By entering, the applicant grants the Town of Milton exclusive rights to use, reproduce, display, and publish the artwork for promotional purposes, crediting the artist
Prizes: The selected submissions in each category will win a Town of Milton prize package (valued up to $75).
