Indigenous singer-songwriter DeeDee Austin has emerged as one of Canada’s most compelling young voices. A member of the Abegweit First Nation (P.E.I.) and recipient of Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer on Canada’s Got Talent, DeeDee combines award-winning musical talent with a rare ability to inspire, educate, and empower youth.
Her school presentations are designed to feel less like assemblies and more like authentic live concert experiences—creating space for students to connect emotionally with music while engaging in meaningful conversations about identity, resilience, kindness, and belonging.
