A photo of Glass Tiger

Discover the enduring legacy of one of Canada’s most iconic bands, Glass Tiger. Originating as Tokyo in 1981, this band from Newmarket, Ontario, swiftly captivated audiences in the local bar scene. Their meteoric rise led to a global recording deal with Capitol Records in 1985, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey.

Renamed Glass Tiger, their debut album, "The Thin Red Line," shattered records, boasting five hit singles, including the unforgettable "Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)." Grammy-nominated and multi-award-winning, Glass Tiger has shared stages with music legends like Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, and Bryan Adams.

Recognized for their contributions, Glass Tiger was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2023, solidifying their place in music history. Join us as we celebrate the enduring legacy and ongoing story of Glass Tiger This Island Earth Tour.
